A truly reliable gigabit network requires redundancy and ongoing maintenance. Implementing backup links or dual-path routing ensures connectivity even if one connection fails. Power redundancy using UPS systems protects equipment from outages. Regular firmware updates and hardware inspections help maintain peak performance and security. Monitoring tools should be used to track network health in real time.
